What's the safest crypto for escrow right now? BTC too slow, ETH gas is brutal
Coinbase supports Arbitrum sends now but double-check the network selector before confirming. If you send mainnet ETH to an Arbitrum address it's gone forever.

What's the safest crypto for escrow right now? BTC too slow, ETH gas is brutal
Genuinely curious what people are using for escrow deposits. BTC confirmations are taking 40+ min lately, ETH mainnet gas hit $12 for a simple transfer yesterday. SOL is fast but I've had two buyers complain their exchange doesn't support SPL withdrawals to our escrow addresses. USDT on Tron feels sketchy but the fees are zero. What's working for you all?

Seller vouched, I released escrow, then they chargebacked the crypto. What now?
Thought I was being careful. Seller had 34 vouches, clean history. Trade went smooth, I released escrow after confirming the Steam account. 6 hours later the seller initiated a chargeback/reversal on the crypto deposit from their exchange to the escrow wallet. The MM is looking into it but I'm told crypto chargebacks are basically impossible to reverse. Am I out $120? Is there any recourse here?

Guide: how I report digital asset sales on my taxes without getting audited
For non-US sellers: most jurisdictions treat this as self-employment income. The crypto tx hash is your receipt. Keep them forever.

Fake 'escrow completed' emails with release links — don't click them
These phishing templates are getting scary good. The grammar is perfect, the urgency language ('funds will auto-release in 24h') is designed to make you panic-click. Always navigate to the site manually. Never click email links for financial actions.

About Trust Levels
Trust is computed from confirmed escrow trades and verified vouches. Three bars (red, yellow, green) light up as a user builds reputation — all three illuminated means highly trusted.
