  Seller sent 'revenue proof' that was literally inspect-elemented. Screens inside.

  Was negotiating a SaaS purchase, seller sent a Stripe dashboard screenshot showing $8.4k MRR. Something felt off — the font weight on the revenue number was slightly different. Asked for a live screen share instead. Seller ghosted for 2 days then admitted it was inspect-element. Username was @SaaSGuru99, they've deleted their account now but watch for the same templates. Always demand live verification.

  For SaaS specifically: ask for a read-only DB connection or a screenshot of the production DB console with recent timestamps. Fake dashboards never have a real backend.

  Logo commission TOS template — steal mine, save yourself a dispute
