  Seller sent 'revenue proof' that was literally inspect-elemented. Screens inside.

  For YouTube/AdSense specifically: ask them to click into a random older month during the share. Fakes often only doctor the current month because it's tedious to fake 12 months of data.

  Be careful with verified X accounts — the blue check can be revoked if the new owner changes the handle too fast or the payment method lapses. Make sure the subscription is paid through the next 3 months and the handoff includes the billing email.

  If you're buying 'used' Figma files, make sure the seller actually transfers ownership and doesn't just duplicate the file. Figma's transfer vs duplicate has different permissions — a duplicated file can be revoked if the original owner deletes the source.

  Fake 'escrow completed' emails with release links — don't click them

  Got an email today saying 'Escrow completed — click here to release funds to seller'. Looked legit, same branding, same footer. But I hadn't even sent escrow yet, I was still negotiating. Checked the sender domain: safetrade-release.com. We don't have a release subdomain. If you click that link it probably asks you to 'sign the release' with your wallet seed phrase. Be careful out there.
